I'm on 8 clicks (halfway) for the road, which is probably a little bouncy, but great for spirited driving and handling dodgy surfaces. I'm pleasantly surprised with the Teins.

For track I think it will be nearer full hard.

Ride height, i'm about 20mm drop front and maybe 10 - 15 rear? I will post up my settings tomorrow as I can't quite remember. It is an intentional nose down setup.

Camber is just over 2 deg front and just over 1 deg rear.
I had a good play with my Type Flex's over the holiday period. Like you I found the rear very bouncy and the ride was uncomfortable so I adjusted the spring preload on the rear and raised the rear ride height by 5mm.

The spring preload makes a huge difference, I'm now at 9 clicks front and back and it's very comfortable - not quite as comfortable as the Koni's on full soft, but it's not intrusive.

Ride height is set to 1 finger gap rear, 1.5 finger gap front.

Just thought I'd share the info with you

Thanks Mr Punch.

I still haven't adjustmed mine, but 8 clicks from full hard is definately a bit too bouncy for the back. Front is hard enough. I've had a few "moments" where the car got unsettled which were a bit scary

I've just been out and drove on some empty roads in a "furious" fashion - and I bloody love this car now. All the little tweaks are coming together nicely. The car grips so hard it's amusing! The back end is much more predictable now too.

Still not got the brakes or the sump on as i've just not been around much. But they will make a big difference, and will allow me to get the A048 / R888 on which will take it to another level of grip.

On top of that i've got a BC seat rail on order and once I know it's coming, I will get a seat for it.

Also thinking of an alcantara steering wheel of some sort. Maybe Mugen?

Any ideas welcome.

May also go for a J's throttle body - somehting i've always dismissed. But speaking to MightyWokka a while back, who's opinion I value, has convinced me. Seems like the throttle response is much improved, although probably not much or any more power.

I will also do a budget rundown once i've got an exhaust on there (final pieve of the puzzle) It's scary what i've spent so far.

Looking like you have a well setup S2k MB, what exhaust are you going for?

My mistake, it's -2 deg at the rear and -2.13 front.

Ride height is 170mm front (factory 197) and 195mm rear (factory not sure)
Mark,

Any chance you could measure your your ride height from the centre of your wheel caps to the wing please?

I'm trying to gauge what sort of setups are out there, in order to fine tune mine

THanks Adrian. I'd like a Mugen AP2 but a new one is about £1500 and I refuse to pay that Greddy SE is my backup option, but tbh it sounds perfect the way it is. It's just for a bit more growl and to save some weight.

Lofty, might be able to do it tomorrow. I think I have it on my CG sheet too.

Suprised your going for a TB Mark, obviously you'll know the intake manifold crack and bore size.

I think it will help throttle response (intially) a little and add a tiny bit of power up top, looking at various cars in my mates workshop the s2k TB is very large for an N/A car with a small engine larger than more powerful turbo cars.

IIRC a TB doesnt help much on a supercharger until running big power that in itself gives you some indication.

IIWU I'd spend it on an exhaust gain a little power with a single and reduce weight which will help more than a TB alone.

If one pops up then I will go for it. Can't hurt and this is turning into a botomless pit anyway.

Why not a J's Racing 60RS to go with your manifold MB? Would save a lot of weight getting a single...
