Where did you buy and how did you get them fitted, out of interest?
I bought the ring and pinion by approaching a guy that was selling an S and mentioned in his ad that he one. I paid £300 for it and Tom (TGM) fitted it, including bearings, for £200.

The one on ebay has ended but it may be worth sending an email to the seller just in case he still has it.

RE the FD, it probably suits Suzuka. Possibly on a circuit with longer straights it might not be so good?
Exactly thats the problem, it depends on the track type - in this respect gears could be an advantage/disadvantage. If you want gears I'd suggest a halfway of 4.44 possibly 4.57.

I'm trying to dig out thread about gears ages ago, when m1bjr was asking about them and we discussed tracks etc.

I'm expecting my car could be quite mental with an SC and gears .

I think the car would look better with a set of wheels

Cheeky buggers

Steve - looks like congrats to you both on the new sprog?!

Punch - cheers for the info. Will do some reading over the next few weeks while i'm away.

Back to the car...

I wanted it complete during my time off, but didn't manage to get the brakes and sump on. So 3 weeks time it will be done.

I think all that remains then is a drivers seat and it's done!

Have you had any joy with finding a seat and a rail?

I want to get the Buddy Club low position rails but nobody in the UK seems to have them in the stock

I called stevie and he said he didn't have any BC drivers side rails in stock.

BC UK are expecting a container in May but they couldn't confirm if the s2000 rails would be in the shipment?!!!

Let me know if you have more luck than me. I just need a drivers side rail
