I've seen quite a lot of them on Ebay from the US. Might be an option?

Or someone like GoTuning on here?

Just a quick update on the new suspension setup...

The front neg camber is great, massive grip and doesn't seem to tramline. The rear is more skippy than normal and hitting draincovers really unsettles it. I'd say that if you were really "on it" on a bend, and hit something raised on the road, it might cause some problems... This is probably due to a combination of the top and bottom braces, the hardened rear suspension settings, and the camber. I find it to be fine, as I know it's there.

The big plus is the grip is much better, and the breakaway much more progressive than before.

Also the rear steer effect is pretty much gone, which is bloody great! Those Powerflex rear bushes seem to have worked

Good work Mr Franklin

Looking forward to getting the EDFC on there though - it will be very handy.

I'm on 8 clicks (halfway) for the road, which is probably a little bouncy, but great for spirited driving and handling dodgy surfaces. I'm pleasantly surprised with the Teins.

For track I think it will be nearer full hard.

Ride height, i'm about 20mm drop front and maybe 10 - 15 rear? I will post up my settings tomorrow as I can't quite remember. It is an intentional nose down setup.

Camber is just over 2 deg front and just over 1 deg rear.

My mistake, it's -2 deg at the rear and -2.13 front.

Ride height is 170mm front (factory 197) and 195mm rear (factory not sure)

There is a Japanese arm of Recaro that is even more expensive than the offerings from Recaro in Europe

Chris.
Are you sure there is a Recaro in Japan? If so can you sed me a link of some sort?
I work for a Japanese company and when they wanted Recaros they got them from Germany, so if there is one more local to them I can let them know for next time.

I know there is a Recaro UK (Warwickshire) but all their product comes from Germany, so maybe Recaro Japan is the same i.e. a sales operation that imports everything from Europe.

Thanks for that.
I can only assume the production plant in Japan doesn't make (the right kind of) car seats as I am sure they would have checked that out instead of importing them in from Germany. I will send them the info though just in case.
