These brakes are bloody awesome Stopping power is quite savage if you push a bit too far! Might be amusing in the wet Getting them swapped next week though.

Would be even better if you bought a set of Spoon calipers MB

But I like my nice wheels!

These will do the job for track work, i'm pretty sure. I will see how they get on at Combe and the Ring next month.

You would have to use a large spacer to run Spoon calipers. That's why I sold mine.

How much did the seat cost?

I'm quite interested in the EDFC MB so give us a full lowdown on the install and operation when you have it all fitted.

I'm curious as to just how usefull it is to be able to adjust damping from inside the car as I have it in mind that youd be more inclined to alter settings for country road blasts and then tone them down again when you are back on the tedious A roads etc.

Also; Where the hell did you manage to find the Monoflex and EDFC for 1 large (as per your excel sheet) The cheapest I can find is circa £1270 exc VAT for the Monoflex and around £295 exc VAT for the EDFC; So all in all around £1840 or thereabouts.

About £450 mr loon.

ODM, the top adjusters on the suspension are really easy to adjust for the fronts, as the knobs are on top of the turrets. The rear drivers side needs the spare wheel out, and the rear passenger side is just about reachable if you remove the rear trim and get your fingers under the fuel pipe.

But you are correct, the beauty of it is that you can just choose the setting from the digital controller kept in the front, and actually adjust it for the conditions. ie if it's pissing down you want it a bit softer. I found last time a I was at Spa, tweaking the Lotus suspension (top and bottom) was a 15 minute exercise, and then you had to turn them back to soft for the journey home. With these it's all just a click of a button on the EDFC The same stands for road use, as per your example. Like I say, it's all a nice to have gizmo and i've survived thus far just doing it in the garage which takes 5 mins.

The install isn't too hard, the tricky bit is running th cables into the cabin, and finding a live / earth. I will probably have a go at it this weekend.

I bought the whole lot new and unused from a nice chap on here Bargain.

My Nitrons had extensions to the adjusters to bring the rears in to the boot for compression adjustment
Do they have rebound adjustment?
How does that work remotely?

Just the top combined bump / rebound adjuster Mikey. They aren't 2 way like yours or the Loti Ohlins.

Although Tein do make a 2 way and you can then put controllers on all of them.

MB's Teins have combined compression and rebound on the top adjuster. Tein SRC have separate compression and rebound in which case two sets of EDFC units are required for the top and bottom adjusters.
