Is ok, just let everyone guess what it gonna be like
What dyno did you put on to, remember dyno dynamic always show much lower figure plus HK is a very hot city so the reading will also go lower as well. The 260bhp is at the fly with the Toda ITB but he said his car is much faster now and have alot more torque at the mid range.
NA tuning is always gonna be expensive and won't be as reliable because of the high revving engine and compression.

We had measure the Timeattack DC5 which is using the Dixcel 2 piece FCR slotted disk with R01 pad and the Timeattack CRX using one piece FCR plain disk and same R01 pad last Sunday at Brands hatch.
DC5 front disk got up to 270 degrees and the CRX is at 280 degrees but the CRX is running 330bhp supercharge, DC5 is only running about 270bhp.
So 2 piece disk is not always true that run lower temperature, is how the compound react to the heat.

Noob question: How do two piece rotors prevent the heat getting to the hub, presumably all the bits are still connected to each other?
Hi Simon, 2pc brake hubs are alloy, so if they got as hot as steel they would anneal and or melt.
But they dont, even on racecars.
So by definition, the part in contact with the alloy wheel is not getting so much heatsoak.
Sure, lots of heat is transferred by convection blown over the alloys from inside out.
But for track days you are sitting in the pits with a red hot rotor, and thats when wheels and tyres pick up latent heat
PS Comparing two entirely different cars and probably wheels and kerb weights is not really telling much either.

this time
But Steve you have anot provided any supporting evidence to show any difference in using a two piece disk on the S2000, surely if they are not over heating it isnt going to make that much difference. Unless you start going to a much bigger disk size I dont think it will make any difference on the S2000. There arent many suppliers who make a two piece disk for the S2000 (project Mu perhaps?)so it doesnt even offer a comparison to whether the replacement disks would be more cost effective if you already have the alloy bells?
I still think MB has made perhaps the best upgrade braking wise on the S, I would suggest Spoon calipers on the front next.
Dixon, mine was on Dyno Dynamics, the only one I trust. Corrects for ambient too.
We did a before and after to prove the increase, but all the mods were already on there so really just shows the increase from the AEM alone. I gained massive mid range which you can see below, 30 bhp in some places.
