Thumbs up Modifry Dash Bracket

Hi all,

Looking for some advice.

Just installed a modifry dash bracket which I purchased about three years ago so it doesnt look like the current one. After installing I couldnt get the dash to sit back exactly flush, it sticks out a couple of mm. Just wondering if anybody has the older version installed and if so if they managed to gets their's flush.

I should have taken some pictures but forgot so I will get some tomorrow if needed.

Just in case your wondering the current installation instructions on the website are for the new model which is quite different from my one and I have lost the original instructions I received with mine.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Did you cut a few mill off the dash to accommodate the bracket as per the instructions on the modifry website?

I did cut away the dash inside which is behind the bracket but I didnt cut anything away that you would be able to see if the bracket were not there.

I was thinking that perhaps I need to do that but I didnt want to start cutting pieces of my dash off

Yes I do have that pdf but my bracket is different. It doesn't screw into the heater controls etc, etc.

I really wanted either the pdf for my bracket or somebody who has the older bracket installed and could advise me.

The picture in that pdf makes it look as if I do need to actually cut the dash in a way which if I were to remove the bracket would be on display, is that correct?

No, when you refit the dash it should fit flush with no gaps. I may be in East London tomorrow subject to my clutch being sorted; I can have a look if you like.

pm me your number
