Default My S is being used as target practice

Less than a week has passed since the repairs were completed after two of my neighbours managed to drive into the front wing of the car whilst parked outside the front of the house. I was happy with the repairs and enjoyed a fantastic sunny weekend with plenty of driving in a nice straight car.

This week I have been having probs with my Battery and this morning it gave up the ghost and would not start. Whilst waiting for my Brother to come round to jump start the car, I rolled the S off my drive and sat waiting in the corner of the Cul-de-Sac.

One by one my neighbours got into the cars and drove off to work and then the lady at number 51 got into her black A3 and backed off her drive and around the corner to where I had been sat for 25 mins. She must have seen me I thought, must have.... Yes, definately seen me.... maybe not.... Jumped on the horn but it was too late, she reversed straight into the front of my car with a thump.

"I didnt see you, I was concentrating on the van in front" - seems to be a story I'm hearing all too often.

Luckily its has only hit the front bumper and a first look shows only light scuffing with two small marks that have gone through the paint. Hers is much worse off and she is popping round tonight to discuss.

Looking at the damage I'm not sure what to do. It didnt help that it was raining so cant see the extent of the damage. Will post a pic of it later in the dry to gather thoughts. Early idea's is to get her to pay for a front bumper respray (which will help with those other stone chips!).

I'm miffed and seriously worried about leaving the car outside my house - everytime its off the drive it gets dinked!

I said Worcesteshire - not Norfolk!

Looks like she is wanting to go down the Insurance route so will definately have a bumper respray at least and possibly even a new front bumper - at least it will look tidy after all this has been done!

I guess the job for the weekend is to clear all the crap out of the garage so I can store the car in there properly.

Where's that number for a skip!
