MY05 alloy wheel refurbishment
Guys, I'm looking to get my alloy wheels on my MY05 refurbished and replace the small covers/caps as they are starting to show some corrosion. I've phoned around everyone seems to offer some service but when I picked one, Dent masters in Swindon they refused to do the work as the wheel needed a respray and diamond cutting. Has anyone done this? What does it typically cost and more importnatly, was the finish of a high quality?

I had my MY05 wheels refurbed via Wicked Wheels in Guildford. They came out and took the wheels off and left the car on axle stands for a weeks whilst they sent the wheels away for refurb.
They did normal refurb but not the diamond cutting - thus having to send them away. They use a firm in Kent who are well known .... but not so well that I can remember who they are !!
The end result was superb .... they looked great - but it was costly .... I think it came to

How come you didn't claim on the warranty if under 3 years old?

Because the last owner had managed to hit just about every kerb in Chiswick during his year of ownership
It's amazing how careless some people are when parking up!!!
