Theres an extra hole in the tube for the intake temp sensor on the dbw induction, so if you have the pre-dbw version you'd need a grommet for the sensor and drill the hole yourself..

Hay WinFreak... that wont be a problem... ;-) cool thanks for input...

any news on spring part numbers. My investigation shows no difference in design over the years so if anyone can show otherwise please do. Spoken to eibach and was stated that as honda revised spring and damper rates eibach retested the product and found no need to revise there spring rates... so part numbers stayed the same...

Almost the weekend... woohoooo pick the car up tomorrow..... :-)

Eibach pro kit used to have an AP1 / AP2 option, and the AP1 kept the rear bias. They must have changed it in recent years.

Which is odd as the spring rates changed a lot from pre to post 04... So depending on what they are now you may still have quite stiff rear springs which isn't ideal imo.

Some info here:

It's pretty poor they don't actually show what the spring rates are. It's the first thing to check when buying springs.

Regardless of what the spring rates are or where, they only have the one product so its redundant I guess.

Anyway car is home with me now collection went smoothly and now I can start the tlc and cleaning. Good to know bkth previous owners had it serviced at honda with engine flush every oil change :-)

The only thing I noticed that I didnt on test drive... when selecting first gear occasionally not always... there is a small knock or clonk its very subtle but is there.... it would be good to hear any information on what that could be guys and gals??? Im going to change the gearbox oil as a matter of course so I wonder if that may cure it.... hmmmm.

On the drive back we had hail, thunder, snow and rain.... happy to report no leaks from hard top at all.... :-) love the engine and yes 9k was reached a few times....

A good day. Now officially honda s2k owner.

now what.... owners manual oclock.... :-)

Lovegroova thats awesome thank you for that info... very reassuring. I know honda replaced copper iirc for csrbon fibre in the gearbox but had no idea I would literally feel why!!! Cool the box shift well through the gears but is a little knotchy at lowspeeds more like my kawasaki box than a car box :-) its all good.

I did notice a kick in the back on full throttle to so checking all is tight and fixed as it should be once I get her (yoda... plate is YDA) up in the air.

Love it. Engine is quiet on tick over, very quiet and smooth :-)

So this morning a quick wash&wax before the rain arrives! I don't know what you guys use for leather cleaning and protection but i use Renapur. Came up very well. I use this product on my bike leathers also I have the cleaner and the bees wax to protect and condition the leather.

I noticed yesterday that the sun was a pain in the eyes!! So think ill try a sun strip and see if that helps. Shipping list for halfords.... soft top cleaner and protector... wiper blades... sun strip.... :-)
