I think this is one of those jobs that in theory you'd like to be able to say you'd done ... but in practice it's something best left to someone that has done it for a living.

Whatever roof you end up with, it's worth paying someone to fit it correctly so that you can enjoy the car as you have been.

To Rob2.2: Why?

Ordered the OEM style with glass screen. £297 Not bothered about going for the more expensive options as the roof is rarely up anyway.

Will probably sort out fitting at the end of this summer
vinyl roof suck and the mo-hair ones look so much better.

Thanks for the input Rob. Don't think I would get £250 extra satisfaction out of having the mohair.

The car sits in the garage waiting for nice weather, so the only time I see the roof is when I park up somewhere.

I've had both kinds of roof and there's not a lot of difference really.

There was a wear problem with my first Monsoon roof and they replaced it under warranty - AFAIK no-one else has had the same problems.

So, to anyone considering a new roof, you can be sure of excellent customer service if you choose Monsoon

I have a vinyl roof and plastic window and it doesn't bother me at all TBH, i cant see me having the car for another 7-8 years (possibly when roof would need replaced) .
