well, I liked this car, just didn't like the P/X lowballing they offered me 5k for a '07 Type R no, thanks.

I think I might keep it until the winter-ish months and then possibly snatch up a s2k cheaper

If you're using it through the winter, get it undersealed, especially the inside of the rear arches, under the rubber protector

And if you're going new and are going to swallow the higher tax, get an 08. Best set up of the new ones apparently.

Well, I've put off buying a car for a couple months so I could pay off the CTR. I'm thinking about the s2k as it seems to be one of the very few cars with a LSD and rear wheel drive - where did all the affordable coupes go?! nobody makes them anymore.

Anyway, I was wondering what good resource you could recommend, a basic "essential mods" guide. I know Hondata is something to considier - is it worth it on the s2k ?
what about suspension mods?
cheers again

What about getting one first and seeing if you like the stock suspension?

Arch gap, I can understand he'll think about lowering before even owning one.

of course, I am just researching options here
I had a couple cars where aftermarket coilovers were the only way to get the car to behave!
I dont mean lowering as such, i mean uprated bushings, ARB's etc.

The 09 cars set up according the motoring hacks was the best set up and I didn't think mine wanted for much in that department... My engine was fine too... Much like the majority of them are.

Of course there is always room for improvement but that, like all mods is subjective. As a starting point the 09 setup seemed well balanced
