I'd be less worried about the mileage and more concerned that the car has a full service history. Unless you are really going to pile on the miles then concentrate on finding a car that has been properly looked after.
On this site you will sadly see tales of people who thought they had a bargain but end up spending 3-5k to replace an engine or gearbox. I'd rather pay an extra

Its a JDM thing full leather seats were an option

Go have a look, you can always say no.
Cardiff - by all mean have a look, but DON'T be in a rush. I know it's hard when you've set your sights on a S2000, they are great cars and good value for money when compared to "equivalent" convertibles
However, most convetibles are sold in the Spring/Summer months. Dealers are geared up for this time and have ordered to have stock in. During the Autumn/Winter months sales of convertibles are low and dealers will be keen to help their cash-flow and ensure they don't suffer any more depreciation by having to sell the car next Spring.
So do look around, don't rush and bargain hard.

I have them..they're fine. The central clothy stuff grips you properly and are never cold / hot. The vinyl looks just like leather.
