I'd recommend TDI they are repairing my s right now after another tuner blew the engine. Rebuilding with 2.2litre stroker kit so it will be an s2200 when it comes back

With regard to what size, that depends on power required, but remember that larger bores may give more power at higher rpms but will compromise lower rpm torque.

The Jenvey site gives a lot of info, as well as being able to sell most of what is needed.

Also check out all the ECUs available as some handle VTEC well and others don't.

Everyone has their own opinion and they're all experts. At the end of the day the decision is yours so I would recomend that you do a lot of research to avoid disappointment.
