Default Paint Chips ?

First posting - wish to say hello to everyone I have had my car for 2 months now pretty pleased with it.

Have what seem to be usual little niggles.

1. Pig in traffic - juddering.
2. Slight Rattle on decelleration.
3. Litre of oil per 1K.

One that annoys me is non cancelling indicaztors - any other experiences.

Main point -

I got hit by a large stone or something at 90,
Caused three short but deep scratches, through the paint, on the front wing over the wheel.

Will this require a wing resray or a local repair.

Anyone with any experience of Chipsaway, would they do it.

Your advice experiences would be welcomed.

Best Regards

Sean W

As I am sure you have read elsewhere, the oil consumption decreases at around 5000 miles, then it only seems to drink it when you VTEC the car.

My indicators self cancel quite happily, I would get that checked.

Juddering is a problem, but now winter is here the problem should go away as it seems to be linked to high temperatures. The only solution I have found is to blip the throttle before pulling away.

Check out the other forums on the rattle on deceleration, this appears to only affect a few cars.

Paint chips do appear to be a common problem with this car, I have a couple of deep ones that I have tried using Halford kits and the Honda paint to repair, they come with a filler, a smoothing tool and a clear coat to cover. Whilst not perfect, small chips, no matter how deep, seem to almost disappear, and all for less that
