Default Which Plugs

Have looked back through the many threads on plugs and I'm only interested in getting OEM ones...

The two model numbers I have found are;

PFR7G-11S

IFR7G-11KS

I understand the PFR are the standard OEM Platinum plugs and from other posts the IFR's are a newer Iridium OEM plug?

I just want to get the best OEM plug that doesn't need checking and that won't screw up the engine (or annoy Honda) - so which is it for a MY00?

I would use the PFR7G personally.

Dont think it makes any difference in reality though.

Just dont use Denso

I still have the Denso Irridium Toughs in at the mo...

<Wonders whether this could be my intermittant bogging down issue>

I am doing a Banzai mag feature on Nology in Feb. So will be trying out their Silver-core race plugs.

They are supposed to be muts nuts but limited life span of 6k ish.

Denso's have been know to have tips fall off, you would know about it if that happened

Think plugs come into their own more in FI applications though, where being extinguished is an issue etc...

tick tick tick.... BOOM!!!!!!

I had heard that about Denso especially when on Nitrous hence moving to Silver core, the tip on Irridium is tiny which is why the high density spark but on the Nology's the tip is like 2mm just like the plugs you would fit in a Moggy Minor however; being made of Silver the spark is nuclear!!!
