Default Is it pointless?

Got offered a pair of ad08s for the rear but for the front will still be running normal summer tyres (potenza re050). I know I'll have 2 different levels of grip but will it work? Will be used on track.

You might have a bit more understeer but it can be corrected with driving style and pressure. Low the pressure on the front tyres to get more grip.

Cheers folks but I have decided to go against the idea. Just going to do abit more suspension tweeking on the back to stop it stepping out on track.

It wouldn't be as effective running with just the pair rather than a full set.

Not as effective, but you will feel very confident with the amount of grip on the rear and their progressive nature, the rear is where you need the grip in the S, especially on track, your Bridgestones will be fine on the front you won't notice a 'rear to front' bias especially if you have good tread depth on your fronts if that is what you are worried about.
