The 911 Turbo is a beast. The 993TT would be right up there on my dream car list.

Your place obviously pays too much, Col! Any vacancies for an in-house lawyer.....?

Work colleague has a new Turbo on order. He is pining after it.
Problem for him is it is basically 100k and he has only had his current car 1year roughly so the change might not be right.

My argument was he should get a 360 modena but he thinks ferrari's are crap and not robust.

Dads eh!!!!!!

TBH Mark, I keep banging on to them to get one. The company is 1100 worldwide and at least 450 UK. The only legal representation is external in the UK.

They really do need an in house lawyer - it makes complete sense to me.

The Turbo guy is a pretty high earner. Lets put it this way; he bought a TOR brand new 5 series as his interim vehicle; when he sold his 911 4s; whilst he waits for the turbo to be completed and ready for sale.

He said he wanted something practical and cheap. Its all relative!

People in real money motors must look at this market sector and piss their pants.

Its like a bunch of flies buzzing in ears, trying to be noticed; trying to get a step ahead, trying to show one droid how another droid is boss.
That may be the case but in percentage terms that elite crew of 'real money cars' is very small. The S2000/scooby/evo/et al are no fairies. If they were street fighters they are the sort of guy that could walk down the street and pretty much knock the living sh*t out of most people they would set their eyes on. Sure there is the odd professional boxer (cerbera) with a hammer blow and the odd finely crafted Master of a martial art (Ferrari F430) and occassionally that seriously normal bloke that can punch and take a punch for Scotland (Bentley) but generally speaking an S2000 can walk down the street and square his goes with most other cars.

As you all know if situations dictate it's relatively safe I'll not back down from a big of dual carraigeway banter and I've yet to be beaten (except for that clio when I wasn't running right). Similarly my scooby was only beaten by a Ferrari 360M and other scooby's with bigger peckers (TDO5 )

Like I say, it's all relative....

It's verging on the kind of tripe that the Street Encounters forum is designed to cater for!

If I can make a serious point though I feel many wealthy, middle aged men fall into the trap of buying very high performance cars and suddenly forgetting that most cars are nothing like that powerful, expensive, able, etc.

I play a lot of poker. The 10th best poker player in the world is a losing player when he sites with the 9 players that are better than him. When he plays any of the other poker players in the world he makes millions of $$$. Think about it
