Default A rather cheap Turbo Kit

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/00-09-S200...p2054897.l4275

What do you guys think?

Ticking time bomb or a potential fun maker?

*just a note, I have no intention of buying something this cheap for the S!

Will that only fit LHD cars though ? we have steering in the way on that side of the engine. That aside, I'm not sure I'd expect a trouble free installation or longevity out of it

I would highly advise against buying any kits directly from eBay.

I was more thinking how long would it be before the turbo shat itself!

The turbo will be junk, everything else will be fine, you 'could' buy this kit, swap to a decent turbo and it would work (providing the downpipe is rhd freindly)

The intercooler and pipework is the same as any, the typical ebay stuff is actually 'ok' bar and plate cores, cast end tanks, decent enough welds, you would be surprised as to how many companies use this stuff in their own turbo kits...

Me personally, id spend the money on good hardware i.e. turbo, wastegate, bov etc, use quality lines and fittings for the oil, and the rest can be bought off ebay.

The turbo is also way too small for the f20.
