Hi,

Has anyone experienced a high pitched, high frequency, metallic rattle when lifting off the gas, particularaly when dropping out of VTEC. The noise seems almost to come from behind the centre of the dash. Don't tell me it's the engine I reckon it's probably a very slightly loose heat shield or something.

I'm not too concerned coz the S2000 makes it's fair share of rattles although it's nothing like the TVR I used to have. That'd rattle if it was parked in a strong wind!

Check the following
1. 054 recall. buzzing noise while reving pass the 3k mark
2. Check the oil level. low oil levels will cause a similar noise
3. lose connection behind dash.

Yo.When you've sorted your rattle I'd be interested in how you think it compares with the TVR. Which model. Talking to a guy the other day with a new one. Moaning about probs already.Gorgeous looking machine though.
