I've recently noticed a strange rattling noise when i get above 8k. It's not the passanger seat belt, it's a different sound to that, but sounds like quick rapid ringing/ rattling. It is more noticable in 3rd, than 1st or 2nd and I haven't pushed it that hard in 4th for a while so I couldn't say. The car is still under warranty so I feel a visit to Honda is on the cards. Has anybody else experienced this ?

 

Gear Selector. You can get your garage to re-pack it with grease to stop the ringing.

Have a search on ringing and gear or something like that and you'll turn up a few posts on the subject
