Default Rattly Hardtop

Hey guys,

My hard top rattles by both of the passenger side attachment points, up on the screen and what seems just behind the passenger seat by the handle.

Are there any easy ways to adjust it so it doesnt rattle when drivnig on rough roads as its startin to get rather annoying now!
Perhaps this might be a common problem with a smiple solution! Well fingers crossed anyway.

Many thanks in advance,
Adam

There are many different rattles but here is a starting point for you:

There is adjustment but you are only talking a few mm. Also Shinitsu grease all the rubber seals.
Other than this use the Search as there a X amount of fixes for hardtop rattles.

Anyhow, it's summer, why is the hardtop on?

Thanks for your reply RevRanger, there are some good tips on that thread I shall be looking into.

Gaspode: Thanks very much for your incredibly informative reply! No1 is making you read or even reply to my question so why bother with such comments? Is this what you would say to someone's face if they asked the same question?

Don't take it to heart!
I didn't when I first started posting on the forum.

I got rid of all my rattles last year... . We took the side pods off the hardtop and moved the hardtop back a fraction and this help get rid of most the rattles. I then used some rubber tubing on the catches...

My hardtop is still on....
