Sounds like you've really been through it mate.. when my car was up on the lift the wheels dropped and were hanging on their mounts, thus putting all bolts etc under tension, as soon as it was on the ground and at rest, all the bolts were no longer under tension and we're able to be manipulated. The bolt on that diagram that was loose was number 26. When I gave the spring stabiliser (#6) a wiggle it produced the knocking.. after some decent wrench work it was easily tightened and the knocking was gone!

I hope you get it all sorted soon, I hated that noise, felt like it was falling apart around me.

Toe control link - if that were loose, it would lead to some weird-wheel steering!

Also important to torque them when the car's on its wheels on the four-poster.

Otherwise, the bushes will be twisted and that can lead to some weird compliance behaviour.

Well, popped it down to Kwickfits on Sat morning and asked to borrow their ramps, and from what we could see, everything was rock solid. I was able to pull on the ARB and drop links with some force, and nothing budged at all.

I'll see if I can tug on the toe-nuts (this is starting to sound like a porn script!) on the weekend! I'm wondering if it's worth getting the hub-nuts done again, but at this point, it seems like I'm throwing money at it like a Steam Sale

If anyone is around the Uckfield area and fancy's a look/drive to help diagnose this, I'd be happy for the help at this point!

The lower looked ok iir, but I can't remember if they split it.

Can't remember if I have already said but in the boot there are two metal lines running between the rear of boot, these can clatter together which males a loud knocking noise. Money does this, cba to put a rag between the metal lines

Is your boot oem? Spoiler? Does it fit ok, any up down movement? If so could be worth putting some rubber stoppers between boot and boot frame to secure it.

Are you referring to the springs that provide tension to the boot? If so, they are fine - standard boot, fit ok etc. Not noticed any movement but I'll double check to be sure.

Passenger seat makes a noise <the upright part > has movement,
I put stuck on rubber feet on the silver hoop part at rear of seats so when reclined allow pressure on mechanism in the pivot areas.
