Default Rear licence plate lights

I've noticed that there's no cover around the rear number plate lights which are above the plate, pointing downwards. In short there is no protection from water coming into the boot from above the number plate. Can anyone confirm if their car is the same ie no cover/surround/plate etc. I've done some Google searches, looked at Google images and tried to spot the parts on the on line Honda parts catalogue but its not clear. Any confirmations from owners would be appreciated.

I literally have no idea what it is you are asking.

Rear plate bulbs are surrounded by a dome - protects from water. As for water ingress into the boot via the bumper, they are not connected....bumper just attaches around the boot, it doesn't form the boot.

Is that what you are asking?

Perhaps take some pictures and do a diagram?

I think he means there's no plastic lense that covers the holes in the bumper

Does this help?

I'm doing revision at the moment, hence the multi colours and paper availability!

Thanks for the quick replies. Mikefifth's drawing is spot on and suggest that any water passing the bulbs would not get into the boot. I can relax. I've already had the bumper off and silicon'd the air vent outside and in so hopefully no more soggy boot well.
