Remote range

So can I get a brand new complete fob/battery and program it to my car? My range is complete rubbish. I have to point it right through the window

Well i only ordered the outer casing and buttons to replace it. however you could ask them how much for the full fob, then program it yourself. if you want the number its: 01732 760010, not sure if thats much help, sorry.

The range on mine is rubbish. If I stand at the boot, it won't unlock unless I point it through the rear window, and thats with a brand new battery and case. What sort of range is everyone else getting?

That cant be right, I get about 10ft range (even if i do have to point it straight at the car)

About the same as you Mind you sometimes it won't work through the back window

Yeah I think your right about the alarm. Half the fun with remote locking is seeing how far away you can unlock your car. With the short range on mine it reminds me of a remote control for a car stereo, pretty pointless and very lazy but I still use it.
