Default buzzy buzz buzz...

Guys,

My car has this hugely irritating buzz/ resonance whenever i change down a gear!

Anyone know if its a major problem? Could it be the clutch issue?

*Would have used the search but don't know what it is i'm searching for!?!?

Yes it sounds like the 54 clutch issue, have a look at the FAQ. Dealer should fix for free I think.

i think if you're out of warranty it's a goodwill thing isn't it? think you would be lucky - other than the noise, i don't think it means there is actually anything wrong with the car. mine has it (and has done since i bought it in june) and it's absolutely fine.

i find it's rather an attractive growl when you change gear but then I haven't known anything else
