Default Rust

Had a knock on the rear wing 2 years ago. Repaired and looked really good. 12 months ago spotred a couple of rust spots on sprayed wing. Took back and got repaired without any problem. However, another spot has just appeared. Obviously I can take back agained, but I'm getting pretty pi**ed off.

Any advice? I want to keep the car for at least another year!!

You wouldn't be the first S driver to have a repair not last very long.

Check the seam weld where the rear wing joins the sill - may see problems there before long

If its any consolation, my folks' R reg E-Class has been back to the dealers about 4 times in 4 years for the same bits to be resprayed again.

Take back again, get money back, go somewhere else to fix it

Fat chance of that. Probably only a years warranty on the original repair.
I'm led to believe that Honda dealers have had to change to a 3 year warranty on all repairs this year.

If it was done by a Honda approved bodyshop, you should be covered by the full six year anti-corrosion warranty.

Even if it wasn't,, it's clearly a shite job.

Find out which of these they belong to:

MVRA (Motor Vehicle Repairers Association)
VBRA (Vehicle Body Repairers Association)

And use to exert some leverage.
