Default Is This S2000 good value?

Hi Guy's,

I'm looking to purchase an S2000 over the next 2 weeks.

i am based in Reading, Berkshire and am looking at an S2000 that the Reading Honda dealership are selling.

It is this one:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...ge/3?logcode=p

Got them down to £8k so far. Is this a good price???? (comes with 12 month warranty and the said they would also sort the small amount of rust on the bottom of the side skirt/wheel arch)

Took it for a drive and it seemed tight as a nut. Low mileage, good history and they will also service it before collection.

At first i thought 8.5k was overly expensive but now they are saying 8k.

What do you guys think?

Seems over priced to me at £8k, I paid £2k less for a 2004 facelift GT in November last year?

What mileage did you purchase at if you don't mind me asking?

6k for a GT 2004 seems a bargain compared to the ones I have been looking at...

It does seem rather a lot for a 2002. I'd rather have a facelift with more miles for that sort of cash.

wow 6k! i thought as the mileage was so low that it was pretty good! most of the other ones i look at are around 60k. But then you do get an 04 facelift which does look better especially with the newer alloys!

I recon i might be able to get a further reduction to 7.5k. but still way above 6k that you thought was what it should be

The paint on the drivers side looks a bit out in places as well.

Driver's seat bolster seems badly worn for the mileage. This car is much more value for the money.
