You should see some of the jokers asking 20k ish for a 15 year old NSX!
How come you are looking at NSX prices?

Looking to get a beater?

there's a double or triple whammy with the crunch

more and more cars that owners struggled to run have become even more neglected

the crunch is the final push that leads to putting the car up for sale

I'm seeing all sorts of 'bargains' that without exception have flawed history - oh, how independent servicing is being hyped nowadays....on two and three year old cars ffs

like the best houses, the best cars are still worth big money and sell quite easily

there are one or two cars I might buy - but only at a much lower price than is being asked at the moment

I've got my car running so well and so reliably, that the last thing I want now is to get rid of a great car, spend more money and get problems to fix

Out of genuine interest Gadster, what kind of value are the best houses you are thinking of.

Serious question.

I bought a car in excellent condition for the year.

Having spent hundreds of man hours on it fettling all the little parts/settings/adjustables, why the hell would I want to sell it?!

I worked how much the car had cost me in terms of running/maintaining/modifying it in the 9 months i've had it.

It is more than I paid for the car, and it doesn't incurr the cost of my beater either!

A lot of people are buying these cars now and not realising how dedicated you have to be and how much they actually cost to run.

Yes, cheap for a sportscar, but it's still a sportscar!

I was being offered ~8k for my 2002 with 40k this time last year.

I px'd in the end and it took them a very long to shift it... I suspect it went to auction.
