Default Saggy Rear..

Just had a new mohair roof fitted but having issues with the rear sagging (for want of a better term) and consequently rattling on the roll hoops. Driving me nuts. After looking at some pics of the inside of the roof it appears the most rearward (3rd) bar closest to the rear window is exposed and the material loops underneath it and back to the middle (2nd) bar. Is this how the OEM roofs are? The 3rd bar on mine is covered by the material looping back to the 2nd. If someone could confirm this for me it would be most appreciated.

Where did you replace the roof?

Monsoon?

I ordered the roof from BAS Int. and they recommended Auto Trim in Leicester to fit it. I was going to use Monsoon but it was more practical for me to have it done locally.

I would take it back there and ask them to fix it. Shouldn't sag like the way you describe

Are all of the tension strap things attached, I had similar when the car was resprayed and they removed the top.
They attach to the frame mounting screws behind the panel covers.

mine "creaks" like you described and it was installed at Monsoon. It seems to be like too much tension in these material folding between the bars...
