Said goodbye to the S2000
After 4 years of ownership (JDM 1999) we've parted company with our S2000 (and in fact our other car, BMW 318i too) and replaced it with a 5,000 miles, 1 year old Mercedes C200K Sport (1.8 Supercharged petrol 6-speed manual).
The Honda will always have a special place in our hearts, but it was time to move on to something modern and smooth and that you could use the radio in and talk to passengers withOUT HAVING TO SHOUT! LOL.
Of course, the S2000 was not happy hearing that we were going to replace it and it threw a tantrum with one day to go. Battery died and we had to replace it with one day left! Cheeky little sod.
The Mrs nearly cried when we left it, but am really enjoying the Mercedes so far, so haven't really looked back YET.
This is the model we've bought (in that colour too)...

I always wondered if that was your S2000 I saw in Linford fairly regularly.
Don't want to jinx your car but my experiences with Mercedes of late has been pretty bloody awful. Electrics can be shocking and the dealers are sods. Just hoping you have a good one!
Enjoy
