old topic revival but i just mounted a Saris Bones 2 on my AP1 with OEM spoiler and it works pretty good. I mounted it with top pad just in front of the spoiler on a supported part of the lid, and the feet in the middle of the vertical section of the trunk. Here's the tricky bit though, I routed all the straps inside the trunk lid, they're hooked on the back side. Looks clean and is much more stable.
We'll see if it stays put. Going to haul one S-Works MTB on it, it's only about 20lbs so hopefully shit doesn't come flying off on the roadway behind me.

It copes with a DH bike, so you'll be ok!

Although I modified the fitment when it starting squashing the bumper (see 2nd photo). This required me to double up the top straps to get it really sturdy though.

Nicely done

Just something I've been doing is to put some socks on the feet to stop the paint from getting scratched.

I used some motorcycle paint protection film stuck to the (newly cleaned) boot lid, and some luggage wrap around the straps where they touch the paint. Together with the double front straps, it barely moved. It did push down on the front leg to the extent that the boot lid deformed slightly, but it always sprung back. It's steel, so not to malleable.

Then I bought a Yeti 575 which doesn't fit on the rack... So I bought my Sister's old Mundano for £500!
