Default Set Up Geometry

The front subframe of my 05 S2k (22k miles) has been removed and is now due for refitting.

There appears to be a small amount of lateral tolerance /movement between the mounting bolts and the holes in the subframe itself.

Is there a procedure to align the subframe itself, to make sure it is exactly parallel with the back axle line, all prior to moving on to adjust and configure the front axle geometry via the wishbone adjustors etc. etc.??

Alternatively, is the mounting tolerance of little significance? Or am I being too fussy?

Some early advice would be much appreciated.

Regards & thanks.

i'd hope there are some alignment holes that you can push pins/bolts threw to get it right

if not make sure all the marks of the bolt heads line up with the bolts
