Chaps, first post so please be gentle. Has anyone got a photo of a Silverstone, red interior and had a red roof fitted? I'm looking to buy one and if the roof needs replacing then I'd like to consider a different coloured roof. Equally, if it looks awful, I won't bother! Thanks, Bins

As we discussed you will only see that on a UK car that has had a roof replacement
Japanese cars had all sorts of combinations
I did see one for sale the other day with a red roof let me see if I can find it.
Word of caution it might make it harder to sell later on

Mikey, thanks for the warm welcome and the info. I was actually more after using the forum members as a sounding board as to whether it's a good idea or not. Perhaps I should have been a little more specific, but you very quickly picked up on that. Japcrap, I can only apologise for not being specific enough in my question. In future though, I'd prefer it if you held your tongue. Having googled red roof, there are indeed plenty of photos, but none show a Silverstone Silver with red interior and red roof. But thanks for the advice.

The advice about moving away from OEM is a very valid Mikey, and as you know I'd like to keep it as standard as possible, but I remember seeing versions of our old cars that had a red roof, something that I thought looked lovely.

I'll keep you in the loop, when is M day? I think you said possibly tomorrow, if so good luck to you!

I´ve got a silverstone with red roof. Edit: it is burgandy colour

I fitted it brand new from Monsoon last October 2014. I would be actually interested in swapping it for a black roof... as I´ve just fitted Mugen black seats and would like to go all black now
