Moving to the UK forum, as US spec cars don't have this.

You have to buy and fit an electronic gizmo or fit something like a Unichip

Japan cars will be limited to 112mph (180kmph).

I used an Apexi RSM to remove mine. There are cheaper methods, but I like the other functions it has.

Thanks for the replys so far..

Just to clarify..... I have an imported S2000 and the car will cut out at an indicated 120mph which is about 112mph according to GPS.

Just trying to find out what options I have to remove this limiter....

If you guys have any links to what I need that would be great.... I did look up the Apexi RSM but the one I found does not mention the S2000 as a compatible car....

cheers

Phil

Go to www.s2kuk.com and look under Benefits/Suppliers. Look for Quickconversions - they do it

Hi Bibbs
what else does the Apexi solution offer? Purely on an interest level.

When you plug in the optional G-Sensor, you can get 0-100kmph, 0-200kmph, 0-300kmph, 0-100m, 0-200m, 0-400m times.

You also get the G meter like the R34 GTR.

Then you can setup shift lights at certain RPM to trigger, and also things like radar jammers to trigger at a certain speed.

And a few other bits like speedo calibration (for different tyre sizes).

I've got one, to match my VAFC, both in black ..
