SRS PROBLEM
Ta.
It was nice having a chat and prod around another S.
Must say, it sounded very smooth and all fluids looked very clean - even the clutch fluid.
Was hoping to get a diagnostic code for the SRS, but my software didn't cater for it.
I can only submise that perhaps a low voltage on the battery has caused this.
Glad all is still well though

Had a look on Wikipedia for the definition of troubleshooter.
I thought this says it all, shame the Honda dealers level of expertise isn't as high as yours
I should just add, being kind enough to go out of your way to help someone out is the other major, not too common that.

Troubleshooting is a form of problem solving most often applied to repair of failed products or processes. It is a logical, systematic search for the source of a problem so that it can be solved, and so the product or process can be made operational again. Troubleshooting is needed to develop and maintain complex systems where the symptoms of a problem can have many possible causes. Troubleshooting is used in many fields such as engineering, system administration, electronics, automotive repair, and diagnostic medicine. Troubleshooting requires identification of the malfunction(s) or symptoms within a system. Then, experience is commonly used to generate possible causes of the symptoms. Determining which cause is most likely is often a process of elimination - eliminating potential causes of a problem. Finally, troubleshooting requires confirmation that the solution restores the product or process to its working state.
I wouldn't let Homer Simpson anyway near my car!
Ron did a super job, and in double quick time! I was also very pleased with the results of his "under the bonnet" inspection. Seems that the car is in super condition - even the throttle cable was pronounced as correctly adjusted, and I did that myself!
I'm still waiting for the Dealer to call and say that they have the new Air Bag ready to fit! It should be an interesting conversation! Mind you, I would have thought that it would be there by now considering the many weeks that have passed since the "fault" was found by them. Maybe they have been reading this Forum and are too ashamed to phone!
