Arrow Stereo Code Nos

Had my battery replaced and now the stereo is prompting for the code. I have the code from the inside of the service manual but the code contains an 8.

How can I apply the correct no when the only available working digits are 1 - 6?

Yes this happened to me. You've got the wrong code, look elsewhere for the right one that doesn't have a number higher than a six. Mine was written on the locking wheel nut case! Failing that, you have to take the radio out (fairly simple) read the serial number on the side, phone a dealer with your vin and the code ,and they can look it up on their computers. Good luck! (Email yourself with the code after you do get it, then you can always find it)

Or just write it in the service book.

No need to do that. Ask a dealer and they will tell you what to do to get the S/N without removing the unit. Then you can give them the number and they will provide the unlock code.
