Default Suspect suspension squeaking

Guys i'm after some advice/help.

Lets start with a

I'm new to the 'S' having only had it a few months. Been excellent fun so far but with a few little problems.

the main one being what I believe to be a front n/s suspension squeak/knocking
sound. It starts off fine in the morning but after the run to work @ 25min it starts.
I thought it might have been the suspension bushes or the spring plate as someone else had found but i've already sprayed generous amounts of white grease over these items. Also it can't be these because last night in the very bad rain we had the noise was getting worse the longer I was driving the car.

HELP

Have any of you had this problem, and if so what was the cause. I want to go into my dealer and at least point them in the right direction to hopefully have a fix.

Could it be the damper ?

The other really annoying thing is the squeak/rattle coming from the stereo control panel. Is this a dashboard out job to tighten the panel ?

Any help would be great

Sorry for all the questions. But how well does the 'X' brace work. I've been checking out the other posts about them but how much does it improve the handling chassis stiffness.

It creates an appreciable difference in fast sweeping corners IMO.

Ads, check in the faq (click on the smilie in my sig) for the squeak rattle, there's something in the Known problems section about it.

I would get the dealer to look at your suspension, ask them to check that there aren't any spacers left in.

I've looked in the FAQ, and done the recommended, but still no solution.

Any other ideas

Are you sure its the suspension and not an exhaust hanger? I have a squeak and done the same as as you but the exhaust is the likely culprit as the squeaking started after it was fitted (but also when the car was put on axle stands, hence my thought that it could be the suspension).

Not sure why the squeak would kick in after 25 mins though, unless heat build up is the issue
