number 12 (23626-PCY-316) for example (even if I'm interested in 6 (23444-PCY-316), which include mainshaft third). I suppose mainshaft third will be different for our EU car, but its synchro?

USA AP2 has different gear ratio with respect to our AP1, but both have carbon synchro. My question is if synchro (for example 3-4) is indipendent on different mainshaft (third) as it is for EU AP1 gearbox and USA AP2 gearbox.
thanks

I could have the solution. From wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_S2000
2004–2009 AP2 (F20C)
Transmission 6-speed manual
Gear Ratios[21] 1st: 3.133
2nd: 2.045
3rd: 1.481
4th: 1.161
5th: 0.970
6th: 0.810
Secondary gear reduction: 1.160
Final drive: 4.100
Reverse: 2.800
2004–2009
AP2 (F22C1)[19][20]
Transmission 6-speed manual
1st: 3.133
2nd: 2.045
3rd: 1.481
4th: 1.161
5th: 0.943
6th: 0.763
Secondary gear reduction: 1.208
Final drive: 4.100
Reverse: 2.800
is it clear that first 4 gear have the same ratio, reduction (-4%) for AP2, from 1-4 gear, is obtained changing the secondary shaft (23230-PCY-A00).

This means that GEAR SET, MAINSHAFT THIRD (23444-PCY-316) should have been updated only for carbon sinchro, but the mainshaft is the same of EU market. This is not true for 5 and 6 gear that have been updated in the ratio by Honda, but again should be true for 1 and 2 (GEAR SET, COUNTERSHAFT SECOND). What do you think about it?
