Things I'd Do Differently..
...If I Bought Another S2000.
(1) I definitely wouldn't put anything on the vinyl roof except soap and water.
(2) I'd wax the wheels as soon as I got it home. Strangley I've only started doing this recently... it's a tip I picked up off this board. The ease with which the brake dust comes off the waxed wheels is remarkable.
(3) I wouldn't cheat during the running- in period.

I agree with 2 & 3. I have always washed the roof with the special Porsche shampoo and have been very happy with it.
What other things ...
Well I wouldn't trust the quoted delivery dates
Take the air box off sooner
Get Zaino on sooner
Consider changing the tyres to F1's
Drive it more!

I have 300 miles on my S2000. I haven't intentionally cheated but I did make the mistake of not reading the owner's manual. As a result, I was using 6,000 RPM as the upper rev limit (not sure where I got that from) when the stated limit is 5,500. I'm wiser now but just wondering about the long term effect of having visited 6K a time or two ( OK, OK, maybe more than a time or two but not much more ) in the first 300 miles.
