I can see everyone is upset with Dixon, it was eventually going this way but I can't understand the concept, he had a good name but it's unfortunately to his own mistakes it has been ruined over the years.

Dixon himself is not a bad person but I could say he is not a good business man.

It is concerning with the amount of people that has been let down, ignored or pushed aside (and these people have told me directly, it is not word of mouth, I always advised them to give him a second chance) but I would like to bring you back to the history of Dixon.

Dixon is a driver, to say he is an mechanic or an engineer would be the wrong way to describe him, DMS is only as good as Dixon's mechanics are and if you don't have the true knowledge or experience to know the work is carried out correctly and you give too much trust to your staff (meaning you are not there half the time to watch over things) then what grasp can you have on your own business?

Although Dixon might not remember me very well, I met him back (socially-at his home) when he was still competing in the early days in TA and I have some friends who are very close to him.

Dixon has a good upbringing and the way I can see it - he enjoys his freedom (maybe a bit too much), he's not a 8am-6pm kind of person, he is a "wakes up when he wakes up" kind of person.

Along with this I would say he is not organised and shys away when a problem arises.

BUT he is not poor and neither are his parents, in fact the foundations to how he got into Motorsports is pretty much self explanatory.

To say he is a thief would be a misunderstanding, I don't think it is something in his vocabulary.

I can confidently say that those who are waiting on him EVENTUALLY will get what they have paid for or what they are owed.

He has let down a large number of people, he has damaged his reputation hugely and surely he will lose a lot of business for it.

People make mistakes, people make bad decisions, people shy away from their problems, some more than others.

I thought I would just give you my opinion. I can stand corrected but this is how I see it.

If you are reading Dixon, get in touch with me, this is my number: 07944945944. I have no benefit from getting involved but if you need a hand to talk to people, let me do it for you. I can tell them the good/bad news but at least they need to hear something, if there is something I can help with, tell me.
That's a great reply Joeh, I hope Dixon takes you up on your offer.

That's seems probably about right from my experience with him.

Bottomline is though no matter whether you're a nice kid or not, taking people's money and disappearing on a jolly (whilst your business is moving premises) isn't a wise move. It comes across very badly and it's something a novice business man would do.... (Or someone who has to much money)

I hope he does sort this mess out, or........Maybe he thinks he's living in a Fast and the Furious movie

I wholly agree.

There's nothing novice about it, more calculating. If it goes tits up, f*ck it, I'll do a bunk. That sounds about right.

Thankfully, I've had no personal experience with him to corroborate this theory, but I've had plenty of experience with others in the past to make me very, very cautious about such matters.

I'm sure he was as nice as pie at first and willing to help etc., but there's NO EXCUSE for taking the piss with people's money. It's simply not on. Treat others as you'd like to be treated and so on.

AFAIK he was instructing at the Ring / Spa rather than driving for fun.

I didn't offer a view or try to justify anything, I offered information / clarification. Make of it what you will.
