I think it just reflects how people feel about the way they are treated. Those who have not been affected by this have a somewhat less emotional view on what Dixon has done, those who have been put out obviously feel hard done to and that is shown by the content of their posts. Hostile - no, emotional perhaps. I've not commented on this thread since Dixon put his apology up, mainly because I realised it was an attempt to keep the moderators on side and no more. He wasn't, and still isn't, sorry for what he has done he was merely fulfilling an obligation to the people who run this site to stop this thread from damaging his ability to trade on here.

I got my money back, it wasn't straight forward and it was from Paypal not Dixon. I used him because he was a forum trader not because he was the cheapest but from a sense of wanting to help the 'little man', luckily for me I managed to come away from this and not be technically out of pocket.

I'm glad the moderators got involved and I think Dixon has got what he deserved, and I'm glad that he is no longer a forum trader and if anyone knows his new business address I think you should post it up in this thread so that those who are owed parts or money know where to go to get it back.

Its all well and good describing his character, and very noble for doing so. Im sure he is a nice man, and pretty sure he is loaded after taking everyone's money...

There is still no way to get hold of him now, so if this is an office move, its the longest one ive ever known of. Been over a month, maybe 2 now. Phone doesnt answer, Facebook no reply, email no reply. Even whats app - ignored.

This is not his being too busy or shying away from things - this is blatant rudeness! He knows EXACTLY what he is doing now. His mobile does ring, so he must be charging it at some point or another, but yet never answers it.

It takes two seconds to send a reply or transfer my money to me seeing as he is so rich. But he doesnt want to.

Lets stop making excuses for him. Ill welcome him back with open arms if he wants to appologise and pay me my money, but until then he is totally out of order

I would of thought if DMS had gone under Chris would be about on the forums explaining what has gone on. At the end of the day if its shut down he must be out of a job. Stills seems abit strange at the moment. Dixon has been on my facebook as he came up on the chat menu.

Has he been blocked from the forum or just had trader status removed?

 

FYI

I had a text from Chris (DMS mechanic) saying that he was opening his own garage.

I have his number from when I had some work done (thankfully with no issues!) at DMS.

That was about three weeks ago maybe.

Cheers for that, i think that pretty much clears up that DMS has gone for good. Shame because speaking to Dixon he was a nice bloke but then again i was always paying him Cash! Feel sorry for the guys who have been left out of pocket, i know i wouldn't let it rest if it was me.

As it seems, DMS has surely ceased trading. (a few of their suppliers are looking for them)

Originally I was only here to try and help but I guess it would be a waste of time because as it looks, there isn't going to be much success from the situation, as it appears Dixon is being very selective on who he answers the phone to.

I don't favour advising court action against anyone but he should have made himself known by now. It only seems that he is isolating himself even more.
