Thing you have to watch id JDP (who do most of these surveys & syndicate them) do lots of different surveys - so they can syndicate them.
The JDP one on brand new cars, for example, is a chocolate teapot.

Funnily enough I have a Yaris Verso as my work van.
It cost me a couple of grand with 51K on the clock and full TSH.
Try getting a decent small van for £2K that's not knackered.
It's never let me down, is perfect for all my tools & materials, versatile as a car or van and leaves me to keep my S2K pristine and for weekend/evening use only.
And because it looks so crap I never have to bother washing it.
