The screen I bought, unused, from Dave-the-Rave came with black foam strips instead of buttons. These were glued into position but I forget which glue I used. In hindsight it would have been better if I had installed longer strips to restrain the top part of the screen from bending forward under backpressure. That might have prevented the screen shearing across the top of the metal frame (see photo below). When I noticed this had happened I thought it had broken when lowering the soft-top but on reflection (NPI) I think it was a stress fracture caused by the lack of restraint on the top part when driving at high speed.
