All I'll say is that my MY09 with VSA is a hell of a lot less stressful to drive on wet roads than my MY02 was.

It certainly saved me from one crash related to some crap driving on my part.

Never mind the VSA, its the damn electro-crap anti-lock brakes that really wind me up. And you cant even switch them off ! Never need them. What's the point ?

Are you still using those 9-year old tyres? If so, you might find that changing them lowers the incidence of ABS engagement.

They are actually10 year old tyres now - date stamped 3308 - and still not a single micro-crack, unlike my 4 year old skoda tyres ! Anyhow they have had a good innings so I'll change them at the start of the new season after I have made some deflection and stopping distance measurements so that I can actually quantify the improvements of the new set. … I hate spending good money for religious beliefs

Does it say Kwik-Fit or בית כנסת on the sign outside?

If all the mechanics are dressed in black and have beards, I think you might have the wrong address.
