Washer Pump
For a period of months now my washer bottle has occasionally emptied it's contents for no apparent reasons.
Knowing that it was buried under the wheel arch liner I couldn't be bothered to investigate I just topped it up.
However it now looks like the pump has failed has I get voltage as all water tubes are not blocked and I popped out the jets and they are fine.
Has anyone ever had to swap it out as it looks like a major pain and am I looking in the right place as their seems to be a second pipe that goes into another device attached to the washer bottle plus some other wiring which I cannot work out what is doing.
PS Yes I have checked the fuse and it's fine.
Cheers

Lloyd has a bottle and motors for sale

Good manDead easy to change just a bit difficult to get at screws, remove drivers side front wheel and turn steering fully clockwise, remove the wing liner (take out all the expanding rivets) you will then see the bottle. The pipe work runs along the top of the flitch and is clipped in, just a few firm pulls and it comes out quite easy.
You will see where all the screws are located by looking at the repacement bottle. Wiring loom to both motors is quite long and easy to disconnect.

Piece of piss.
You need to lock the wheels over, remove the honda clips & the two screws securing the arch liner.
pull back the rear edge, the washer pump is the one right threr. The bigger one on top is the headlight washer.
It pulls out of a grommet into the washer bottle. Holts silicone & rubber lubricant makes that bit a lot easier.
