Default Wheres is the map sensor (SOLVED)

Can someone just point me in the right direction to the map sensor, want to give it a friendly nudge to make sure its clear, as I thought power felt a bit down when out over the weekend or so? Anyone any pics in their gallery?

And is it just a matter of a tap with the hand or something a bit heavier? Don't want to destroy it! lol

On the throttle body, says MAP on it !!

(Intake manifold, just after the long black pipe)

It's the black thing atop the throttle body on the front of the inlet manifold.

Remove wires & two screws, lift off, blow up its hole & tap its top with a hammer into palm of your hand.

Blow up it again, replace.

I fitted a new one at the weekend and there is zero kangarooing. Acid test was my regular route home from work where I hit big traffic into Bournemouth, like a new car!

Still got the logs from my wideband to post at some point.... Shows the MAP beaviour.

Michael, these cars are rather sensitive to changes in ambient, the MAP, AIT sensor adjust the timing to suit the conditions - so dont assume there is something wrong! Esp this time of year when its a bit variable outside.
