Wild Atlantic way
I'm going to do a road trip with my wife in the summer and after considering various routes both home and abroad I've decided to do the West coast of Ireland known as The Wild Atlantic Way.
The plan is to get a ferry across to Dublin stay there for a night then take the quickest route to Donegal.
Stay a night in Donegal then drive along the coast right down to Cork over several days then back to Dublin and staying another night before returning to England.
Probably doing a total of 8-10 nights.
So I'm wondering if other s2000 owners have done this trip and if so if they have tips on places to stay and visit ? How many days for total trip etc etc?
I know they did Northern Ireland megameet but I'm not looking to do that area.

Make sure your Geo is set up correctly, some of the road surfaces over there are awful.
Went over there a few years ago, did the ring of Kerry over two days (Rained both days, misty, wet and cold in JULY!!!!) could not see a thing.
Agree with AXO5 Kinsale is very nice

The Wild Atlantic Way is stunning - lots of signposts everywhere that can take you down to lovely beaches on dead end roads...just beware of that one!
Be sure to complete Dingle Pennisula including Connor Pass, do go down to Mizen Head, make a detour to Molls Gap....loads more places too....its all awesome
Out little group, Le Sau and Suzy Bee, Andy and Rodolfo and myself took 7 full days to go top to bottom after the MegaMeet in NI last year - it was a great trip and still lots we didn't get to see or do! 8 to 10 days would be great for a trip !
Would suggest booking some accommodations on route dependant on time of year you are travelling as this 'drive' is now quite popular so to avoid spending a while looking for somewhere to stay everyday!
Enjoy !
