Default www.hardtopguy.com.....

Has anyone managed to find a Honda parts dealer such as Hardtopguy who will export products to the UK or are we stuck with paying dealer prices? Any group buys going on for parts?

Could do with a contact to buy some parts for MY99 but don't want to go direct to expensive Honda :-(

regards

Rob

hardtopguy will ship to the UK - Jeff and Joe are very very helpful guys

Genuine Honda parts and he'll do his best for you.

I got front brake discs half the UK dealer price, including shipping, I was lucky - no customs

I do appologise, you are quite correct, they do ship to the UK, oops. I don't know what i was doing but it said it could not ship the items i wanted over to the UK, my fault. I'll put it down to being a newbie!

Did you have to pay 10% import duty and 17.5% tax on top of the price or was it just the shipping cost? I want to put it quite a big order so it could make a fair bit of difference!!! Sometimes you have to pay and others not.

Regards

It's less than 10% import duty, either 4.5 or 5.5% IIRC (I've got a couple of unpaid invoices here somewhere... )

What happened with the 04 bumper? Did you order it and it not arrive? or did it turn out to be a lot more expensive than you first thought?

I saw these on the site and even after tax etc they are very cheap, especially if you order them with other parts as the delivery added on is a lot less. Was thinking about colour coding the black bit at the bottom of my rear bumper, putting the 04 tailpipes on and putting the front bumper on. 04 wheels could prove difficult to get though (and expensive)!

Yes, the bumper itself is cheaper than over here by a considerable margin. When I spoke to Jeff he said he wouldn't ship it, possibly because of its size. I think in the end he mentioned that he could do it if I organised my own courier etc which at the time was too much hassle.
