Looking for a hard top stand, will consider a non-Honda OEM product as long as it does the job!!!

has anyone been succesful at making a DIY hardtop stand? I'd love to see some pics if possible. Im not too keen about using the hoist to the ceiling method with pulleys etc knowing me i'll bodge it up and it will come crashing to the floor in the middle of the night. I wish they'd made it a Trans top like the del sol CRX or the Mercedes
