Default Sept. 2010 UMW FS/WTB thread

For Sale guidelines:

If you're selling items and prefer to sell locally (and you live in the UMW area or Ohio), feel free to post your items in the monthly for sale thread. Urmil (Luder94) or Charlie (chazzguitar) will start one each month.

1. There will be no discussion in the thread.

If you have questions about something for sale that you're interested in, PM the seller. If the person gets the same question a lot of times, they can edit their post to include the information. If you disagree with the price someone has set, negotiate the price; the seller is under no obligation to sell to anyone unless he/she has come to an agreement with a buyer.

All posts that do not list an item for sale will be deleted. Extraneous comments in a post listing an item for sale will be edited, with the entire post subject to deletion. This is to prevent someone from posting a comment and an item for sale in the same post.

Do not post "PM Sent" or equivalent. Do not post requests for pictures or prices. ALL questions to the seller must be sent via PM or e-mail.

2. Only post your item up once in a thread for each month.

Do not quote your own post so you can get your item to the next page. Do not "BUMP" your post. Etc. By disregarding this rule, your post(s) will be moderated.

3. Cars for Sale go into the for sale thread.

See rule #1 and Commercial car posts are not allowed, if the car is at a dealership, or if you work/own/run a dealership, these posts are not allowed unless you are a site sponsor. Private sale only.

4. Selling an item on S2ki is a privilege, not a right

5. You must be a member of S2ki.com to post. The exception to this will be S2000s for sale and WTB posts

I am VERY motivated to sell this as a major scholarship of mine ran out. If you or anyone you know is at all interested, PLEASE MAKE AN OFFER.

FOR SALE is my fully loaded 2003 Mini Cooper S with a 6-speed manual transmission in Indy Blue. By "Fully Loaded", I mean: Premium interior, premium sound, sport package, cold weather package (heated front seats), front sunroof / rear moon roof, paint-matched roof and side mirrors (very rare factory option), factory aero kit (all paint-matched so there's no flat black fender covers), and even factory navigation. As if that weren't enough, the original owner also had silver "viper-style" racing stripes applied to further set this Mini apart from the rest. In addition, I replaced the OEM run-flat tires with non-run-flat all-seasons that give a MUCH smoother ride while lasting far longer and being far quieter. If you're worried about flats, you can get a flat repair kit at a hardware store for about $40 and keep it in the trunk area. I also replaced the OEM battery with an Optima red-top and added an auxiliary input adapter that allows you to plug an iPod, generic mp3 player, laptop, or even most phones DIRECTLY into the factory audio without having to put up with crappy tape deck adapters or FM radio transmitters.

Contact me if you would like to see more, high-res pictures, make an offer, or set up a test drive. She has just under 66k miles, but you'd never guess it. She still runs and shifts great, A/C blows cold, stereo sounds fantastic, etc. My phone number is 217-430-4362, and I can be reached there via call or text. If I don't answer the phone, I'll respond as quickly as possible. I can also be emailed at Gfunk.gbuss (AT) gmail.com

Again, I'm asking $13000 OBO, so feel free to make an offer!

Also, I'm selling a set of 15x7 Kosei KS-1 (12.6 lbs!!!) wheels with worn falken azenis rt-615 tires (maybe one or two autoX sessions left on 'em). I'm asking $400, but if someone were interested, I'd throw them in with the car. Here's a picture of them on the car:
